Booze Less Do More Fun Activities
Be the life of the party tomorrow

What is “Booze a little less. Do a lot more”?

“Booze a little less. Do a lot more” is a campaign created to encourage community members to be thoughtful about their drinking. Whether you are staying home with the family, watching a movie, skiing with friends, or going out for a girl’s night, consider pounding water in between those beers (drinks). Why? So you can be more present and do more tomorrow.

Through partnerships with local businesses and nonprofit organizations, we want to improve access, awareness, and availability of mental health resources here in Summit County. We’re not anti-drinking; we’re simply pro-support of the community health benefits of drinking more intentionally and responsibly.

When compared to the national average, Alcohol-related death rates in Summit County are higher and excessive drinking rates are more than double. Data aside, we all know the positive and negative role alcohol plays in our local culture. We love coming together over a beer after a hard day of work or play, but sometimes drinking feels like the only way to unwind and connect with our community. We want to change this culture by ensuring businesses that serve alcohol also provide a fun, choice-filled environment for those looking to cut back or take a night off drinking while still being a part of the party.
